Scrappy Hand-carded Rolags

Just like how painters have a blank canvas before starting a painting, we fiber lovers have blending boards, carders, and more! By using these tools as our blank canvases, an endless universe of fibrous combinations is right around the corner.
A rolag is one of the many ways fiber can be prepared before starting to spin. By reusing yarn scraps, not only are you recycling, you are creating a one of a kind blend! There is no right or wrong way to upcycle yarn scraps. This workshop will supply you with all the fiber scraps you need to get started to spin! Together we will learn tips and tricks to prepare the yarn scraps, card them on hand carders, and have the end result of a rolag (or two, or three, or ten!)
Disclaimer: Hand carding can be difficult if you have issues with dexterity in the hands, wrist, and arm areas – please assess your health before joining this workshop.
