Unit price perSpring is in the air and we're casting on together! Join us for our Sweet Spring Knitalong featuring the beloved Jean Collection designed by kolibri by johanna. Whether you're drawn to the classic Jean Sweater, the layerable Jean Cardigan, the breezy Jean Tee, the adorable Jean Junior, or the cozy Jean Scarf, there's a Jean for everyone!
We'll be knitting with Knitting for Olive Merino, Pure Silk, or Cotton Merino held double with Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair to achieve the pattern's suggested gauge, a dreamy combination that gives your finished garment beautiful drape and a soft, ethereal halo. Prefer to work with a single strand? Any DK-weight yarn works beautifully with this pattern as well.
We love seeing what our community creates, and when you're able to include yarn from Fancywork in your project, even just a skein or two, it means the world to us. It's your support that makes community events like this possible, and we're so grateful for it. 🧡
Your hosts Dedra and Emily will be leading the Sweet Spring KAL and are excited to knit alongside you! We'll meet in the shop every other Saturday from 4:30–6pm, beginning April 18 and wrapping up May 30.

This Knitalong meets in person on the following Sunday afternoons at Fancywork:

- Meetup 4: Saturday, May 30, 4:30-6:00 pm

What's a Knitalong (or Crochetalong, or Makealong)?
A knitalong (KAL), Crochetalong (CAL) or Makealong (MAL) is a social event designed to bring the maker community together around a specific pattern or yarn – or sometimes both. Enjoy connecting with others while knitting or crocheting the same garment or working with a particular yarn together. This is a fantastic time to gather together with others in our fiber arts community, enjoy camaraderie, and get a little guidance and project support along the way.
What ISN'T a Knitalong/Crochetalong/Makealong?
A KAL/CAL/MAL is not a class. You should be reasonably familiar with the techniques required to work through the project at hand. However, help is never far away! If you ever find yourself in need of extended project support, drop in to one of our Help Sessions, offered weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1-3pm.
