Tumalo Fiber's Caldera Fingering is a hardy skein spun from 100% Cormo wool. The 2-ply configuration creates a prominent stitch definition when worked up. This yarn is as bouncy and robust as it is irresistibly soft, crafted for makers who want crisp stitch definition.

The Cormo sheep, originally bred in Tasmania in the 1960s by crossing Corriedale and superfine Merino, bring together the best of both breeds: the resilience and loft of Corriedale, and the buttery softness of Merino. The result is a wool that’s springy, elastic, and next-to-skin soft – with a fine micron count that rivals luxury fibers.
