$225.00
Unit price per20 in stock - Ready to be shipped
This workshop will be led by co-instructors Kecia Kubota and Danni Supplee, both seasoned Cocoknits Sweater Method knitters. And we will be joined by “virtual Julie” at times thanks to her helpful video series. Taught over two, four-hour sessions, January 31 & February 1 from 10am-2pm, this format will allow time to practice techniques and work on the sweater between classes.
We will meet at the Camp Fire Central Oregon offices, located in the Sunlight Solar building: 150 NE Hawthorne Ave., in Bend - just down the street from the shop in the Bend Central District. Coffee, tea and nibbles will be provided. We will take a short break for lunch. Please either bring a brown bag lunch, or take a quick visit to one of the food carts at the Pine Shed, just next door. Early sign-up is suggested as there are a limited number of seats available for the class.
All participants in the workshop should have previously completed at least one sweater. To prepare for the workshop, purchase the Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book. We will be working from the pattern for Emma, which can be knit in many different weights of yarn. Choose yarn and circular needles to match the pattern gauge.
Cocoknits stitch markers will be provided and are yours to keep!
Materials:
- Book: Cocoknits Sweater Workshop by Julie Weisenberger
- Yarn in yardage required to knit your size at the stated gauge. Our sample will be knit in Malabrigo Chunky.
- All appropriate needles for your chosen gauge
