You’ll learn how to construct socks from the toe up, ensure proper sizing, work short-row heels, and master finishing techniques. Plus, you'll discover the Magic Loop method for knitting small circumferences. This simple and enjoyable approach will have you hooked on handknit socks! And since socks are a perfect portable project, you can take them with you wherever you go. No previous sock experience needed.
Materials: One skein worsted weight yarn such as Malabrigo Rios, 32" US 5 circular knitting needle for Magic Loop knitting, OR US 5 double-pointed knitting needles OR US 5 FlexiFlips. Stitch markers, darning needle, and a pair of scissors.
Prerequisite skills: Casting on, joining in the round, knitting, purling and binding off.
