Sourced, spun, and hand dyed in America, North Bay Fiber produces and designs premium-quality, custom-milled yarns created from breed specific wool. Non-superwash and worsted spun, Elemental Sport is spun with a fine twist that reduces pilling.

With a springy nature and a smooth texture, this yarn is perfect for knitted items worked in stockinette, cables, and lacework. Made from 100% U.S. Cormo wool, the resulting fabric is ideal for everyday garments and accessories. Initially bred from Australian Merino, Lincoln, and Superfine Saxon Merino sheep, the Cormo sheep produces a soft white yarn. North Bay Fiber's hand dyeing techniques result in vivid, bright, colorful solids. 

NOTE: Please consider that due to this yarn’s springy texture, when you substitute Elemental for another yarn in a pattern, you may wish to purchase approximately 20% more yarn than needed to ensure you will have a sufficient amount. This yarn has bounce!
