With approximately 260 yards per skein and a 13 wraps per inch (wpi) gauge, Entropy DK offers both versatility and durability. BFL wool's long fibers help prevent pilling, so your projects will stay looking fresh, even after repeated wear. The yarn’s natural sheen adds depth and dimension to your work, while its breathable qualities keep your pieces warm yet comfortable.
Named for the “entropy” effect of its hand-dyed colorways, this yarn creates an ever-changing, gradient-like effect as you knit. Each skein is a beautiful mix of colors that subtly gradate and shift in smooth transitions giving your projects have that gorgeous hand-spun look.
Adorned with our shop's logo, this wooden needle gauge can be twisted to reveal the marked needle sizing holes. Poke your mystery tool into the most similar hole to find out what size it is. If it fits snugly with no wiggle room, you've solved your mystery! Easy to slip into a pocket, zippered pouch, or project bag. Take your wooden gauge with you wherever your knitting adventures take you and show your pride for your LYS!

Class 3: Getting to the meat of it. This week we'll tackle the sleeves and body of the sweater. Once your sleeve stitches are secured, cables are adjusted and a few rows are under your belt, it's smooth sailing from here! We'll send you off on a two-week break to knit, knit, knit on your own with the goal of coming back with a completed, bound off sweater body.
Class 4: School's back in session! We'll gather together again and jump in on those sleeves, learning how to shape them, along with strategies for making them the perfect length.

Gilitrutt is spun from fleeces that Hélène personally hand-selects and grades one by one after the first shearing of the Icelandic lambs. The carefully crafted result is an Icelandic lambswool yarn of unparalleled softness and fineness.
Gilitrutt’s two plies give it strength while maintaining a surprisingly soft hand and beautiful halo. Despite its fineness, it has all of the lightness and warmth expected from Icelandic wool yarns. This versatile yarn can be knitted with a variety of needle sizes and makes deliciously light sweaters as well as scarfs and mittens and is even suited for baby garments.
Hand Carders are used in pairs to prepare fibers to spin. Mix colors and fiber types to create your own one of a kind rolags! Then spin them yourself or pass them onto a fellow fiber friend.
Ashford Hand Carders are portable, lightweight, and quick to assemble. They have a slight curved bat with a large carding area. Designed with wire teeth that have a special protective coating and flexible rubber backing, these carders will last for a long time!
