Forge is made from a heathered blend of 70% U.S. Merino (sourced in Colorado and New Mexico), and 30% U.S. Corriedale (sourced in New York) wool. Forge is a round, well-balanced three-ply yarn. It has a beautiful balance of stitch definition, bounce, and wooly, cohesive bloom that produces both beautiful stockinette fabrics and eye-popping cables. Forge is fabulous in sweaters, hats, mitts, cowls, and even large-format shawls. Forge is spun at Battenkill Valley Fibers in Greenwich, New York, and dyed at Caledonian Dyeworks in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
