Kestrel is spun from the same superlative organic linen fiber as Sparrow, but its structure and appearance couldn’t be more different. Kestrel is a ribbon yarn, a small knitted tube. It knits up super quick on US 10 (6mm) needles. We love it in plain stockinette stitch and simple silhouettes—the better to show off its texture and drape. When you want quick summer knitting in the lovely linen, use Kestrel.
Kestrel
Spun in a ribbon structure, Kestrel knits up quickly and gives a slight texture, even to simple knit and purl stitches. Like all things linen it only gets better the more you wash and wear it.
