Aleks Byrdwhose roots are in Estonia, Canada, and the USAis a knitwear designer with a love of color and pattern. Trained as an illustrator, Aleks teaches Estonian knitting techniques around the world. Aleks’ designs blend tradition with her own unique graphic style. Through her work, Aleks strives to make traditional Estonian techniques accessible to everyone, building a bridge between Estonian knitters and the international knitting community.
