Avoid Second Sock Syndrome! Learn how to knit two top-down socks at one time using the Magic Loop technique on one long circular needle. This is a three-session course. We’ll cast on during the first session using the German-twisted/Old Norwegian cast on. Session two will cover turning the heel. Session three we’ll finish the toe and you will have a completed pair of socks!

Materials: 40” circular needle in US 1 or 1.5, 100g (approx. 400 yards) fingering weight yarn suitable for socks (superwash wool or wool blend), a tapestry needle, and the pattern: Rye Light by Tin Can Knits, available on Ravelry for free.

Prerequisite Skills: Knitting and purling in the same row (ribbing), long-tail cast-on, and a spirit of adventure.
