Need a last-minute gift? Got cold feet? Learn to knit socks two-at-a-time using the Magic Loop technique and delicious worsted weight yarn for maximum speed. The first session will cover casting on using the German Twisted/Old Norwegian cast on, knitting the leg, and the heel turn, while the second section will cover toe decreases and grafting. You’ll have a warm pair of finished, adult-sized socks ready to give to someone you love or keep all to yourself!

Materials: 40” circular needle in BOTH US 3 and US 5, 250-300 yards worsted weight superwash wool yarn, a tapestry needle (second session), and the pattern: Rye by Tin Can Knits, available for free on Ravelry

Prerequisite Skills: Knitting and purling in the same row (ribbing), long-tail cast on
