Time: Saturday, November 2 from 2-3:30pm
Learn the unusual technique called Tunisian Crochet, often described as a cross between crochet and knitting. Taught in a small group setting, you will learn the basic Tunisian stitch (also called the Afghan stitch), and make a small one-skein cowl (or a two-skein scarf). This class will also prepare you for learning other Tunisian stitches. Knitters looking to branch out into crochet will find this technique especially rewarding.
Materials: One or two skeins of worsted weight yarn, a Tunisian Hook size J or K (6.0-6.5mm), and a locking stitch marker (optional)
Prerequisites: Chain stitch
