New Homes for Handknits benefiting Saving Grace
May 6 - May 7

We’ve all got at least one handmade item that didn’t quite work out as we’d hoped for ourselves. But it might be just perfect for someone else! Consider joining in the New Homes for Handknits sale. Here’s how it works:
DONATE! Bring us your lightly used (or never worn) handknits, hand crochets, or other handmade garments and accessories to add to our retiring shop samples. Items are being collected here in the shop through April 30th. We also encourage you to bring an item from Saving Grace’s Wish List to help meet their needs in multiple ways.
SHOP! Discover gorgeous handmade woolens and take home a new-to-you handmade favorite while giving back to our community at the same time. 100% of the proceeds will go to Saving Grace to help a local community member in need. The New Homes for Handknits Sale runs Saturday-Sunday, May 6-7. Instant gratification never felt quite so good!
FEEL GOOD! Saving Grace offers safety, hope, and healing to survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and stalking and engages Central Oregon to build life free from violence. Survivors have access to Saving Grace’s 24-hour helpline, free and confidential counseling services, legal and court advocacy, shelter, safety planning, and more. To learn more visit saving-grace.org.
Items for donation must be handmade, in lightly used or never-worn condition, freshly laundered, free of smoke and pet hair, and newly de-pilled. Once donated, these items are the properly of Fancywork Yarn Shop. Should any items remain after the sale, they will be offered to Saving Grace to add to their collection of clothing for survivors. In the event that they are unable to accommodate more clothing in their limited storage, Fancywork will work with Saving Grace to find a suitable, alternate local non-profit to donate the items to.
