Time: Tuesday, July 10 & 17 from 1-3 pm both days
Learn cables, buttonholes, tubular cast on, tubular bind off, Kitchener stitch and how to read a chart, with this classic Brooklyn Tweed pattern. Foundry is an oversized, cozy scarf knit with architectural cables and deep texture. Thoughtful details include slipped stitch selvages to keep the long sides neat and straight and buttons that allow the wearer to convert the scarf to an oversized stole.
Materials: 1000 yards of DK weight yarn (our shop sample knit in Brooklyn Tweed Arbor). Needles in size US 4, 5 & 7 depending on the size you choose to knit, and the pattern, available in the shop in hard copy or through Ravelry.
