It’s not too late for one last quick holiday gift! Come learn the technique of fair isle crochet. Fair isle crochet has a similar look to fair isle knitting but can be completed in a fraction of the time. Learn how to carry yarn across the back of your work with proper tension to avoid catching the yarn when slipping these pretty nordic mitts on your hands.
- Two colors of worsted weight yarn such as Brooklyn Tweed Shelter
- Pattern: Nordic Mitts by Tanya Eberhardt, available in the shop via Ravelry in-store sales
- Locking stitch markers
Prerequisite Skills: Students should be comfortable with CH and SC stitches, and working in the round.
Homework: Please read the pattern and complete the first three rows prior to class.
