Celebrate the official first day of summer with a bouquet of hand crocheted flowers. Flowers can be used to accessorize your hats, scarves, sweaters, bags – you name it. Add a clip to make a barrette or attach them to a headband. String multiple flowers together for a garland. You could even – gasp! – yarnbomb our fair city with flowers simply to delight passersby! Skills required: Must know how to join and work in the round.
Materials: DK weight or heavier yarn and appropriate size hook, locking stitch marker and scissors.
