Keep your fingers warm, toasty and looking great through the changing seasons! Wear either the cabled mittens alone or even just the liners on their own for those not-so-chilly days or double them up for the extra frosty ones. In this class, you will learn all the skills needed to knit a pair of mittens AND an ever-so-cute pair of mitten liners. We will use either double point needles or Magic loop technique – your choice. The mittens are cabled and have a gusset thumb. The liners feature an “in-row” thumb.

Materials:

  • Yarn: for the Antler mittens: one skein of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter; for the mitten liners: one skein of Brooklyn Tweed Peerie
  • Needles: US size 6 and US size 0
  • Notions: stitch markers, scissors, cable needle

Prerequisite Skills: Knitting in the round
