Let's gather and knit Caitlin Hunter’s stunning Stromboli tee! This breezy, beautifully textured top is perfect for warmer weather, with an engaging design that’s both fun to knit and easy to wear.

Stromboli is part of Caitlin’s Knitaly series—tee patterns inspired by and named for places in Italy. This design pays homage to Stromboli, an island near Sicily known for its dramatic coastal beauty and active volcano, Mount Stromboli. We’ll meet on Saturday mornings—May 10, May 24, and June 14—from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Fancywork Yarn Shop. Each session will be a casual gathering where you can share progress, get a bit of help from friends if needed, and soak up all the inspiration that comes from knitting together.

Looking for the perfect yarn? We highly recommend mYak Fior di Lino, a luxurious linen blend with an earthy elegance, or Elemental Effects Coastal, a light and airy wool-silk mix with beautiful drape and stitch definition. What's a Knitalong (or Crochetalong, or Makealong)?
A knitalong (KAL), Crochetalong (CAL) or Makealong (MAL) is a social event designed to bring the maker community together around a specific pattern or yarn – or sometimes both. Enjoy connecting with others while knitting or crocheting the same garment or working with a particular yarn together. This is a fantastic time to gather together with others in our fiber arts community, enjoy camaraderie, and get a little guidance and project support along the way.

What ISN'T a Knitalong/Crochetalong/Makealong?
A KAL/CAL/MAL is not a class. You should be reasonably familiar with the techniques required to work through the project at hand. However, help is never far away! If you ever find yourself in need of extended project support, drop in to our Help Session, offered weekly on Saturdays from 1-3pm.
